Reagan Braker

  This is one of my favorite photos. I took this on a flight home to Illinois from Florida this past winter. It was taken to capture the pretty evening sky. The wing of the plane is the main part of this photo. I think the airplane wing in this photo represents my love for travel. Most importantly, the aircraft wing creates balance when looking at this sky photo.   The skies make up most of the background. The upper part of the blue sky appears to be the same size as the cloudy layer of skies below. The contrast in the photo I find very interesting from the large single block of blue sky to the bottom pattern of orange, purple, pink, and blue in the cloudy layer of the below sky. Also, theres a shadow that across the bottom of the photo. All these colors are light which I like.  The big contrasting sky represents the many places you can visit in this world. My primary expectation for this year's writing seminar is that I will have to write and work at a higher level than I did in my high school years. I will need to refine and polish all my grammar skills. In addition, I will need to properly cite my sources in my papers. I will spend more time researching the writing topics. Also, I will elaborate more on the topics.  I plan to spend a greater amount of time working outside of the classroom in order to meet all the criteria of this class. I will try to come to class prepared and try to work ahead on most tasks. I will schedule plenty of time to get my work done. So, it is quality writing and not work that is thrown together at the last minute. I believe I can do great work in this class if I stay organized and work hard. Moreover, if I do all the previous things it will lead up to a great semester.  My goals for this semester are to learn from my mistakes and grow my writing skills.
