Challenges and Experiences with Microtheme

The first challenge I encountered with my micro-theme was finding a topic. It was difficult to find a topic that I am passionate about and was enjoyable to write about. Also, it took some lengthy brainstorming to find a topic that I thought would be interesting. I came to the conclusion to write about social media. Since others and I spend numerous hours on social media. 

In the middle paragraph, I had to take some time to make sure I was utilizing words and qualified language to suggest ideas for the problem. Also, I struggled with the ending paragraph of my micro-theme and how to wrap up the ending. But I deliberated, and I was able to develop my closing paragraph. I had some difficulty with just some simple grammar issues throughout the paper but I was able to work those out. Something I was not used to doing was having set up phrases throughout the microtheme. But after getting used to it, it became more of a habit. 

After writing about this topic it really had me taken back and thinking about my social media usage. It had always bothered me how much I use social media, but after really learning about the negative effects that come with it. Why do I still use so much social media even though I do know these effects?
